Co-located with SEXPO, DroneX is Australia’s largest indoor drone racing event and exhibition. DroneX is a two and a half day event that showcases everything to do with drones. On display will be exhibitors and businesses from the drone industry, drone sales, amateur drone racing, professional drone racing and hourly demonstrations from some of Australia’s leading drone pilots.

Why not come along and test fly a drone or simply watch how the professionals do it? DroneX will feature demonstrations every 15 minutes from professional and freestyle drone pilots, competing for prize money and trophies. There will also be demonstrations from some of Australia’s leading drone pilots, showcasing state of the art drones. You can test-fly drones in the amateur area and race against your friends (drones will be supplied), or speak with the many drone exhibitors who will be on display and take home your very own drone.

What does Dronex have to do with SEXPO?

SEXPO is not just about sex, it’s about Health, Sexuality & Lifestyle. Drone technology and application is increasingly becoming integrated into daily life, commercially, professionally and in leisure capacities. SEXPO is seeking to give this new industry a platform through which it can reach the general public in a fun and educational way. SEXPO promotes healthy and safe ways in which people can complement their lifestyles with new and innovative ideas.

Plus, drones can be sexy! Just look at what some enterprising souls have done in the realm of drones and sex…

Do I need to buy a separate or special ticket to get into DroneX?

No – simply follow the prompts from either www.sexpo.com.au or www.dronex.net.au, and purchase your ticket. One ticket will get you access to both DroneX and SEXPO. Please note: special inclusions as shown on Gold, Lounge and Platinum tickets do not apply at DroneX.

I’m confused by the ticketing structure; all I want to know is how much it costs to get in to DroneX.

Student / Senior (enter any time): $14 (online)

General Admission Friday Super Saver: $17 (online) – must enter by 6.00 PM

General Admission Friday (after 6 PM), any time Saturday or Sunday: $28 (online)

Gold, Lounge and Platinum Passes: If you purchase one of these tickets for SEXPO, it will also give you admission to DroneX, however the added benefits included in these tickets do not apply at DroneX (i.e. priority access).

Can I just buy tickets at the door?

You sure can, but they are cheaper online. Our ticket sellers will be located outside door 8 of the event should you prefer to purchase your tickets at the door.

Is there a separate entrance for DroneX visitors?

No – simply come through the main entry to SEXPO (door 8 of the MCEC).

I’m interested in being a part of DroneX as an exhibitor, what do I need to do?

Simply click here and fill out the form. A DroneX sales consultant will contact you shortly.

I don’t want to fill out a form, I want answers now!

No problem, simply ring us on (03) 9639 3104.

I’m only interested in seeing DroneX, not SEXPO.

That’s a shame, as we’d love you to enjoy SEXPO while you’re there and get two great shows for the price of one. But if drones are your thing, then simply come through the main SEXPO entry at door 8, and follow the signs to DroneX. A warning though – SEXPO may be addictive to some, so allow some extra time when you visit DroneX so you can always swing back around to SEXPO afterwards.

I am a drone pilot and would like to compete at DroneX.

Great news! Please contact Terence from Drone Racing World at info@droneracingworld.com.
