U.S. Porn Stars Open Australia’s Sexpo!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments
PERTH, Australia — They’re getting down, down under. This year’s Australian Sexpo convention opened this week with U.S. porn stars on hand and a number of sex-related attractions that wowed attendees including a life-sized “Penisaurus” roaming the crowd.

U.S. adult stars Alexis Texas and Lexi Belle along with Aussie star Angela White were also on hand to provide plenty of eye candy and T&A. The girls topped the show’s red carpet sneak peek riding in a sports car burn-out.

Billed as the world’s largest adult consumer show, the expo also features an amateur strip show, carnal carnival, an uncensored shadow theater, a fetish toy exhibition, lingerie parade, body painting, hypnotists, pole dancing and more.

One highlight was the “Pricasso” exhibition that had the artist chatting about his skills painting with his penis.

Signing autographs and glad-handing fans, Texas told WaToday.com that she likes conventions because she can meet with her fans and that they increase her brand awareness. “It’s great to meet my fans about what they like, don’t like and what they want to see. But I’ve never had anyone really negative because anyone who comes to Sexpo is part of this whole lifestyle.”

There was one disappointment at the show however.  Local soccer star and senate hopeful David Wirrpanda was a no-show at the event’s ribbon cutting ceremony citing prior commitments. The organizers agreed to make a $4,000 donation to the David Wirrpanda Foundation in exchange for his appearance.

“It has been a busy week for him; he’s been booked up too much. It was a prior commitment before he decided to come out this week. He was always going to be part of Sexpo; we don’t think it affects his campaign,” Wirrpanda’s partner Shannon McGuire said.

Sexpo general manager Tracey Browning said they would still donate to the charity. “He wasn’t able to come obviously because he’s running his political campaign at the same time; he called us and said how sorry he was that he couldn’t be here,” she said.

Porn stars, Penisaurus and Pricasso open Sexpo!

Sexpo is open and ready for business, following a bizarre sneak peek that had a roaming life-sized “Penisaurus” and a sports car containing three porn stars do a burn out on the Perth Exhibition & Convention Centre carpet.

While a trio of disgruntled security guards attempted to stomp the torn-up carpet back into place, comedian Russell Gilbert introduced seasoned actresses Alexis Texas and Lexi Belle and Australian Angela White, using a blasting PA system that had bewildered guests complaining it hurt their ears.

“Pricasso” chatted about his skills in painting with his penis, Penisaurus and “Penis Man” posed for photos with the crowd and a topless tassel-wearing performer posed for photographs on a motorbike.

Pornographic actor Alexis Texas, who has starred in almost 450 films, is one of the drawcards at the Star Booth, where fans can get photos and autographs.

Texas said she attended the conventions to increase brand awareness and get feedback from fans.

“It’s great to meet my fans about what they like, don’t like and what they want to see,” she said.

“But I’ve never had anyone really negative because anyone who comes to Sexpo is part of this whole lifestyle.”

Guests at Australian Sexpos are more liberal than their US counterparts, said Texas.

“I love coming to Sexpo,” she said.

“I feel people in Australia are more open about their sexuality. In the US it’s a little bit more taboo.

“But In Australia porn isn’t shot as much as it is in the US, it’s more underground.”

Other attractions at the convention include a hypnotist, a ladies lounge with a panel discussion on labiaplasty, sex seminars, cosmetic surgery and teeth-whitening stalls, dancers and lingerie parades.

Sexpo is open until Sunday at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

NEW Senate hopeful David Wirrpanda was a no-show at Sexpo today, after previously promising to launch the adults-only exhibition.

The former West Coast Eagle footballer this week confirmed his tilt at federal politics as a senate nominee for the Western Australian Nationals at September’s election.

Mr Wirrpanda’s partner Shannon McGuire told PerthNow he was unable to make it to his scheduled appearance at the sex convention and she cut the ribbon in his place this morning.

Organisers had agreed to donate $4000 to the David Wirrpanda Foundation in exchange for his appearance.

“I did the launch for him today because of his other commitments,” Ms McGuire said.

“It has been a busy week for him; he’s been booked up too much. It was a prior commitment before he decided to come out this week. He was always going to be part of Sexpo; we don’t think it affects his campaign.”

The three-day expo at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is billed as the largest adult entertainment convention in WA and features striptease artists, international performers and shopping.

A Nationals WA party spokesman said it was a personal decision by Mr Wirrpanda to pull out from the opening.
Sexpo general manager Tracey Browning said they would still donate to the charity.

“He wasn’t able to come obviously because he’s running his political campaign at the same time; he called us and said how sorry he was that he couldn’t be here,” she said.

“We understand that he’s got other commitments. Shannon McGuire was fabulous.”

David Wirrpanda nominates for Senate tilt, opens Sexpo

FORMER West Coast Eagle turned political hopeful David Wirrpanda is set to open an R-rated event, just one day after confirming his tilt at federal politics.

He announced today he will be a Senate nominee for Western Australia’s Nationals in September’s federal election.

The 33-year-old will open Sexpo, an adults-only sexuality and lifestyle exhibtion, at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday.

Organisers have agreed to donate $4000 to the David Wirrpanda Foundation in exchange for his appearance.

Wirrpanda has set himself big goals in the political arena.

“I could become a very powerful voice, and that is what I have always wanted,” Mr Wirrpanda said.

“I know what it takes to speak to people first hand and win their interest.

“If you have got three days I can tell about (all the issues that need addressing). You don’t let opportunities like this slip.”

After making his 1996 AFL debut as a ponytailed 16 year-old, Wirrpanda became one of the most recognised and respected indigenous faces in WA.

Since 2005, the David Wirrpanda Foundation has promoted strong role models and healthy life choices for indigenous youth in WA and beyond, particularly in regional and remote areas beset by social and health crises.

Mr Wirrpanda draws his political inspiration from his mother Margaret, who died of diabetes complications earlier this year.

But he will also use the experience of a 227-game AFL career, in which he an All-Australian player.

“It is no different from what I have been doing for the past 13 years … representing a football club that most people don’t like in Victoria,” Mr Wirrpanda said.

”(The public scrutiny) is almost like being grilled by Mick Malthouse and Woosha (Eagles coach John Worsfold). It is constructive criticism, so they say.”

Mr Wirrpanda is aiming to become WA’s first Aboriginal senator, and the first Nationals senator from WA in 35 years.

WA Nationals leader Brendon Grylls said he wanted to see his party’s star candidate become the state’s voice in the Senate.

“You never take anything for granted, but this is probably the Nationals’ strongest attempt at the Senate spot for a couple of decades,” Mr Grylls said.

National Party senate leader Barnaby Joyce welcomed Mr Wirrpanda to the candidate ranks.

“I think he’ll be a great addition,” Mr Joyce told Sky News.

“I really hope David gets up on behalf of the people of Western Australia and on behalf of our nation as well.”

Mr Wirrpanda’s nomination comes after Clive Palmer’s fledgling party announced former AFL superstar Doug Hawkins as a Victorian candidate for his party today.
